I have to agree. I did a gymnastics meet of 22 teams about 1 week
ago. I am finding that shooting raw on the K20D that I get about 50
images per gigabyte. The action is moving so fast that there is
precious little time to change cards. I have 5 2gb cards and 2 4gb
cards. But before this event I purchased a fast Transcend 16gb card.
It was very necessary and justifiable to get the job done.

BTW, the total shoot was 1,640 images and I used all but 2 of the 2gb
cards. I will be getting another 16gb card shortly. I bought the
card from www.newegg.com and paid about $40 for it. As for speed, it
is similar to my Transcend 150x 2gb cards. One advantage to looking
on Newegg is that there are many reviews which usually reveal the
true speed of the card - since the manufacturers tend not to tell you
unless they are really fast.
