I have a waterproof, bombproof, acidproof, fire & brimstone proof, nuclear
explosion proof, outer space survivable, pressurised to support the weight
of 40,000 tons per square millimetre, case from Peli in which I keep my
storage cards.

In fact, I have 2 just in case one gets damaged.

When I've finished a card I put it in the space vacated by the empty one I'm
about to use, but turned label-down, so I don't try to reuse it and so I
know when I get home which to transfer to disk. It's much easier to do this
than to mess around with separate 'filled' and 'fresh' cases.
