Hi Brendan Congrats on the gear!
I tried to access your photo and received a page asking for my AOL "screen name", and then had to register, get a confirmation e-mail from AOL, respond to that, etc. Never did get to the photo. That said, I prefer screw-in hoods, and have been using the Pentax 67 90/2.8 - 105/2.4 hood with the A*85/1.4, which is also a rectangular hood. Have you tested the 135/4.0 macro hood for vignetting? With the substantially different angle of view of these two lenses, I'd be concerned about that possibility.
