I'm a huge fan of As Time Goes By with Palmer and Dench. One of my
favorite scenes is in one of the early episodes--Alistair is giving a party
and Lionel & Jean attend. Jean is talking with a "green" woman who is
babbling on about what the "green child" has to look forward to. Lionel
joins the two women, and
Jean says "We were just wondering what the green child has to look forward
to."
and Lionel's retort: "Blending in with the lawn."
Anyway, this GESO is an example of some really fantastic photography, Bob.

There's a G20 summit coming up in London next week, and people who work in
or travel through the area where it's being held are being advised not to
travel there or go to work because of the demonstrations that are
expected.
To my chagrin I have already booked time off for other reasons, so I don't
get a freebie day off. Argh. Anyway, I mentioned to some colleagues that
I'd
photographed similar fun & games at a previous demo, in 2000, and promised
to put up a website of the pictures.

Enjoy - it was an enjoyable spring day, even though someone stole my MG.
The
pictures were shot with 2 MXs, a SMC P-A 24-35/3.5 lens and probably a SMC
P-A 70-210/4.
"Resistance is fertile" was a slogan of the day, which was supposed to be
about "guerrilla gardening".
