I've been thinking about the idea of 645D for some time now... the more
I think, the less I like it as a commercial product. It's very good
technology demonstrator (look guys, what we are able to do), but I'm
quite afraid, that manufacturing process will drain Pentax ability to
design and produce "normal" cameras and lenses. We have seen that their
ability to bring out new things is quite limited (and I am not talking
only about DA*60-250 which have been in design-to-sales cycle at least
since mid-2007).
Is it REALLY worth to endanger mass-market-products in favour of
extremely-limited-sales supertoy?
