The old high end Pentax zooms are excellent too, the K85-210/4.5, M80-200/4.5 and the A70-210/4. These sell for less than the DA/50-200 and can do FF in the future. They are bulkier though. Of course always avoid the old cheapo pentax zooms like the takumar-A and variable aperture models.

Both of my shots from the PDML yearbook were made with the DA50-200. One from the short end, one from the long end. For its size and price, it's a damn impressive lens. -Mat -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
