I received it as well. But - I have my email application (the excellent
Claris Emailer) set to ignore files over 200K in size (infinitely
changeable), then giving me the option to download them or delete them or
leave them on the ISP's server until later. This way I can see who it's
from and take appropriate action.

I'm on modem connection, and even though it's 56Kbps, that's relatively
slow by today's standards. I think even a couple of years ago file sizes
of 400K would have been considered a bit large to send unannounced, but
in this day and age I would say that the upper limit before one raises an
eyebrow would be about a Megabyte, IMHO. Hence I had no problem with the
400K.

I have a colleague whop used to send jokey images (cartoons etc) that
were upwards of 1.5 MB when they could easily have been 20K !!! Endless
efforts at attracting his interest into resizing them failed and so I
just told him to take me off his forwarding list. This the guy who's
expensive top-of-the-line PC laptop kept having to reformat his hard
drive (!) through virii and corrupted files and OS. Sigh.

(Soapbox/dismount!)

Thanks for the pics Brendan. I'll keep a lookout.

Cotty
