Windows allows it very easily, actually.
I don't so much mind operating systems that hold my hand, I do mind
when they refuse to let go.
The problem in this case wasn't with Windows, as much as the professional
haters like to blame everything on the Windows OS. In this situation, the
problem was with me just plain forgetting both how easy and possible it is
to remap a drive
letter with Windows.
If I can forget something this fundamental, do you really think I could run
a geekOS such as Linux?
