Your modified K mount lens works as if it were an M42 thread mount lens, which meter perfectly in both AV and manual modes, since you're manually controlling the iris. It's the funky semi-automatic stopdown metering stuff that doesn't quite work correctly.
That makes the whole issue even weirder, doesn't it? You'd think that the camera would get exactly the same values if it stops down then meters, that it does if it meters while being stopped down all the time.

But maybe someone has tried to be clever in some way with that semi-automatic mode, and made it do something other than just stopping down and metering?
