To diffuse light in my enlarger, I put a
diffusion disc inside it. Unfortunate,
it cut light throughput so much that
a 35mm 8x10 is a 3-minute exposure with
a 150-watt bulb! Unacceptable, to say the least.
I'd like to put a Quartz lamp into the head,
but have not found a holder that screws into
a standard bulb socket. Is there one?
The ELH bulb from carousel projectors is 300 watts,
and would be pleanty bright. I just need a holder!
