The rabbit costume has head-shape (and I think angle-in-the-photo)
issues that make it look less like a rabbit and more like some sort of
giant, child-eating weasel.

In the colour version, the happy bright easter colours and the coded
cultural response to them reduce (but do not, to my eye, eliminate) this
effect.

In the black and white, the effect of the colours isn't present and the
impression of incipient violent carnivory is strengthened.
