If John shows up at GFM, don't let him near the lens table.:-) Just kidding John, sorry to hear this happened. I had my fa 70-200 damaged like this and had it fixed for around $200 more or less.
My fa 28-105 pz lens works well on the K10, so me i might get it fixed.
