Nice, clean design. Few nits. I'd redesign to make the page width at
least partially fluid or, failing that, fit a 1024-pixel screen (still
the recommended optimum design width). And move the navigation menu to
the left side so people with smaller screens can still see it. As it is,
the first thing people with smaller screens lose is the all-important
navigation menu.
Also, your pages are written in HTML 4 but all your image tags appear to
me XHTML format (ending with "/>" instead of ">"). Fix that and it looks
like your code will validate completely.
I'll echo the sentiment that someone else expressed that the
target="_blank" link is a design technique that should be avoided (with
the sole exception of linking to PDF documents).
Site works perfectly in every web browser I tried :)
Very minor nits here. Overall, I'd be thrilled if my students came up
with anything as good!
