The fourth trip up there to see if I could find one, plenty of variety though. 
People kept telling me they hadn't seen Kinfishers this year, then today a 
couple of Canikon guys said I'd just missed one, waited hours for it to come 
back. I was at the point of giving up, the light was fading fast and it was 
getting colder and wetter by the minute, but waiting rewarded me with the first 
view I've ever had of one in the wild.
