Thanks for your obviously sincere and kind words, Sid. The thing is, when I phoyograph something like a tree, I feel I should be sat there behind a huge wooden 10X8 inch plate monster with a cloth over my head, spending hours composing and waiting for the light. But then, one of my heros, Jeanloup Sieff shot some great landscapes, snapped on his Leica almost in passing. Hell, he shot them while driving! Maybe there's hope for me after all. I dare say that as I get older and 'slow down', I might consider a medium format camera and a small stool... Cheers and a very happy new year to you.
