Dan, it was at NAS Agana Guam back in 67 some time.
By the time we arrived on scene the plane was covered with foam and
still burning. The fire crew washed a lot of the foam off but a lot of
the outer skin was burned away. The rudder was full of holes from the
fire. However, the BU# ended in 1418 and it was plane #9 in the
squadron. It was an F-4B and had Marines on the side as well.
Sorry, but that is about all I can tell you. You might ask some of
your friends if they knew someone who had jumped from one after a
crash and either sprained or broke an ankle.
