M4 and onwards employ the same film loading mechanism which once mastered is fast to load and very reliable, more so than any Pentax SLR I've used. Also speaking from a little experience, I've bought, used and sold 5 Leica M bodies and each have returned more money than I paid initially including all ancillary costs.
