Everybody keeps telling me field of view and focal length are independent, and I have no reason to doubt this. So, presumably, the relatively wide field of view is an advantage; lord knows a willingness to carry fifty pounds of lens, tripod, and the kind of gimballed head that requires trunnions, tolerate a close focus distance on the order of 10m, the necessary complexity of adaptors, and a lens that costs like buying a car ought to have some advantages. -- Graydon -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
