You might be able to buy an aftermarket chip for that computer that will cancel the governor while enriching the fuel mixture a bit and improving the ignition advance curve.

Compeltely restored stock exterior and interior
But all new top line 2009 drive train, electonics, and suspension.
That would be freakin aweseome as a daily driver.
Too bad I cant even come close to affording that
Setup. Oh, well its nice to have a plan at least.
