It only goes to 1:2 s/n 501919 it says 5288 japan Tamron SP 90mm 1:2.5 (|) 55 the aperture reads AE_32 on the left and 2.5 on the right and when I finally looked at the focusing scale I noticed the macro scale above it which reads 1:2 at 1.3ft or 39cm It's metal construction, very solid, not light.
