I used to get E-6 done in 2 hours for $8. But then I moved to a
slightly larger city and the "pro" shop here doesn't do anything in
house other than C-41. And yes, dropping my film in the send-out bin
at Wally World is the path of least resistance anymore. What I don't
quite understand is why it takes 20 days to get your film from Toronto
to Parsons back to Toronto, and that's why I said I wouldn't shoot the
stuff if I lived outside the US. The only thing I can imagine is that
it has something to do with crossing a border. From a Wal-mart store
near Harrisburg it goes to Fuji, Fuji sends it to Dwayne's, Dwayne's
sends it back to Fuji, Fuji returns it to Wal-mart. Roughly 10 days,
as little as 6 one time.

Ironically, Target stores are set up with Kodak C-41 hardware. When
Qualex (owned by Kodak) was still handling their send-out film, Target
wouldn't accept Kodachrome. Go figure.
