And while it may add something to have it built into the camera, it's not necessary for geotagging ... all you need is the image files, the file of your GPS track from any GPS receiver, and one of several programs (like gpicsync). I did it for my trip to Bulgaria last year and it worked a treat ... until I changed the "where am i" settings in the camera and skewed the timestamps on the photos.
