Nope, or yessir... What I was trying to say is that although you shoot action and it is quite dynamic, you choose (my understanding was that it had to do with AF quirks of K10D) the center of the action to be in the center of the frame which is somewhat static.

I pre focus at the centre of the jump, as that is were the horse and
rider, should be, when they get there.
