Big thanks, John, Mike, Anthony, P.J., Cotty, Chris, Boris, Joe, Pat, Dave S., and William. Very kind of you all, but just remember that this was a real lucky Hail Mary. The original RAW frame was impressively unremarkable. Earlier, I posted some post-processing tech stuff, so refer to that, and I want to make a correction: I mistakenly said I shot this in early morning rush hour, which is wrong; I meant to write early evening rush hour (about 5:15p). Still, I want the WB to be on the more yellowy side.

Also, I shot this with the DA 21mm lens, so the plane was pretty small in the frame, but what's amazing is that if I zoom in on the plane (in Lightroom) I can make out 1 of 2 words on the plane. I can't make out the 1st grouping of 3 letters, but the second grouping of letters spells out Alliance. Isn't that amazing!

Anyway, big thanks to you all. Cheers, Christine

Holy crap that's amazing! Makes me imagine that's Farrah & Michael's private jet to heaven (and I'm not even religious).

Extremely well done.

John

Hi Everyone:

A real Hail Mary shot here--taken while driving on I-90 in some morning rush hour traffic that was moving along at about 30 - 40 mph. My husband hates
when I do this; I probably should stop doing it.

It's 1024 pixels on the long end to give you a sense of it. Comments
welcome, and I'd especially like to know your views on the white balance
used here. Cheers, Christine
