It's a big manual.  I have it sitting beside the couch and have been
reading it on and off trying to find those things Ihave noo idea about
that I saw while doing the setup.  I'm glad I'm not the only one who
is likely to use the level control.  It works in live view and movie
mode, which is helpful when holding the camera and a foot of lens at
arm's length so you can see what you are filming.  I think for movies
I will stick to using a tripod.

The flash should work fine in auto mode.  It tend to either use the
AF360 in full P-TTL or AF500 in manual mode (still to be tried but I
don't think there will be any problems.  I have a party next week to
see how well it works for party photos.
