No, the shadow isn't distracting. actually, I think it enhances the composition. If it were mine (here we go again) I'd do a pull down of the brightness of the cabin. Almost has a 'glare' about it that, I suspect, may be hiding some detail in the weathered siding. I like it very much, Brian!
