I don't have a Mac but I dipped into this thread because just yesterday I was looking for such an option for my new laptop PC which runs Vista. In addition we have computers running Win 2000 and XP in this household and on none of them (including the laptop) does right clicking a folder produce an encryption option. Hmmmm.... A bit of Googling later and I find that a registry edit is needed to enable this option - Microsoft actually has a help page to tell you how to do it. So thanks for staring this thread. It's helped me even if I haven't helped you.... :-)> Cheers Brian ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Brian Walters Western Sydney Australia http://members.westnet.com.au/brianwal/SL/ > > I cannot find, anywhere, a similar function for Mac OS X.
