Not only does sarcasm not play on the net, being very very dry doesn't do well, either. :) > > Though I do think that "we gave this camera to a chimp; it still worked > > when we got it back a day later" would be about the best claim of > > durability and shock-proofness you could make. (Well, ok, short of "ore > > crushers? our camera sneers at ore crushers".) > > My favourite is a one-week kindergarden test. :-) That'd be a good one. The chimp is going to be a lot more violent, though. Knew of a place that tested -- after many complaints about fragility -- phone handsets by giving them to toddlers as toys. One of the returned units worked fine, but smelled funny for no obvious reason. Eventual disassembly in a spirit of trepidation showed that it had been disassembled, packed solid with peanut butter, and reassembled by one of the toddlers. -- Graydon -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
