You've obviously never used an FG20. The FG is a nice little camera,
and all the ones with flaky electronics are in the trash bin now. The
FG20 is pretty much an FG without either the build quality or
reliability. The original FG and the EM are the only two Cosina-built
Nikons worth bothering with.

I sold both when they were current. The FG20 didn't seem to have the reliability issues of the FG, but it was a seriously dumbed down camera. The FG looked like a gorgeous camera, but most of the ones we sold came back during warranty for repair. I was told by Nikon that there was a weak point in the flexible circuit board in the prism area that had a tendency to break. We didn't sell many FG20s, but the ones that went out the door stayed out the door.
