I have been cutting some larger sheets, but sometimes I need only 1-2
prints, and I don't want to wait for long time, until I need to print
something else.. Or sometimes I want to experiment - so I don't
want to waste much paper..

Or are you cutting the paper before printing?
That might be an interesting idea...
Especially if I were to use 13x19 - this looks like a better
choice compared to the letter size (8x11.5)

Or you could combine the two practices. Print what you need on a large sheet, cut it and save the remnant to use later. You use the appropriate size remnant for later prints.
