I have the model 554 that I bought second hand from a local camera
store. It's easy to use, precise and gives clean edges when it cuts.
Looking at the specs, I wouldn't consider the card maker. It doesn't
seem like it would be really easy to use if you wanted to use it a lot.
The personal trimmer looks as good a job as the professional trimmers.
The only difference I see is how many sheets capacity they have, and I
only cut a single sheet at a time.
If I had to pay retail, I would go for the 507, but I got the used 554
for just a little more than the retail price of the 507.
