Christine,

The page loads fine in IE 8 too.

To stop the text from shifting when resizing the browser window you
could try to specify the table width as pixels instead of percentage
in the CSS as eg. "table {width: 800px}".

However, the table's default position left-aligned, so it doesn't
float very well with your page heading. To amend this, you can eg. put
and alignment attribute on the table (<table align="center">) or
include your page header into the table.

Just some thoughs... :-)
