Heck at least half of Brook's spelling errors are typos...

hate to comment, but that is one of my pet peeves,
but that's a typo, not a misspelling.

Paul have you been taking spelling lessons from Brooks?

I haven't put the K7 to that severe a test, but I noticed when
shooting Grace's t-ball game that I could keep focus on a runner for a

series of shots. Very nide.

On paper the K-7 is about twice as fast.

Today I played around with both cameras in a park, tracking hooded gulls as they flew past, and snapping away with the DA*300/4 mounted.

IOW, BiF. :-) I was stunned by the difference. The K-7 locked focus on the gull and kept it there for whole series at a time, while the K20D struggled to reestablish focus between every shot. As a result, about one in four was in focus with the K20D. With the K-7, the ratio

was 17 out of 20. And needless to say, the practical difference in actual FPS is far more than the nominal doubling. My gut feeling says

today's performance was about 3x faster for the K-7.

Can't wait to repeat the test with the FA*600/4.

The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or

fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a
free man any more than a dog.
