No point in keeping something that isn't in tip-top condition, unless
you use it as a paper weight.  If the *istD isn't working so well, get
it fixed or trade it for a good condition one.  I understand the 2
wheeled thing and have struggled with Pentax's 1 wheeled offerings.

My first digital was the *ist DS and I'm keeping it.  I can make my
old TTL flashes work on that camera, and I suspect 6 meg is just fine
for my flash photos.
