My order of preference:
IR -
1. thrash-ir_0039 Not a typical run-of-the-mill IR shot, a real eye-catcher.
2. tree_0109 Might be too similar to my fave tree shot, but
the best full tonality of this group.
3. G3_barn_0132 Too empty in the middle-ground and needs straightening.
4. g3_ir-1432 Almost my favourite but flawed by an imbalance
of darker tones crowding the right edge.
5. G3I_tree_0139 A nice very formal and stately composition but
weak mid-tones and not enough power in the shadows.
Trees -
1. Tree in plowed field. Powerful composition and tonality.
2. Cedar veins Very beautiful and almost my
fave. I don't know if the flower is endearing or an irritating
distraction.
3. Frozen chain and birch To much tonal similarity causes lack of
spatial separation.
4. Tables and tree Not in the same league as the others.
