Thanks A few flash on camera shots of a static subject in direct and bounce modes. Subject say, 8-10 feet away. I tend to shoot indoor in M mode AV of F 4ish and Tv of around 1/30 or so. My Nikons do a good job but i really have to play around with the Pentax combination.
Out side i'd like to see how it performs in fill flash mode, ie lessen shadows of a hat wearer or a portrait shot in partial shade. Again i have a hard time getting something to work here, Pentax gear wise. If the K7 handles flash and fil flash better than what i get now, i'd give this camera serious consideration over the D300.
