It's not really a "vs". The FA31 is faster, larger, is practical for ambient light indoor photography, and has a very particular rendering I despair to describe. The DA35 slower, smaller, is not practical for ambient light indoor photography, at least not of anything moving, and has a rendering with a greater scope for the high end of blue and purples in the spectrum. Focus speed is a little slower with the 35; it's not an IF lens and there's substantial motion across the focal range. The DA35 really is a macro lens and will focus on things that are inside the lens hood. -- Graydon -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
