Steve, I have had the DA 35 for a year and a half and I love it. I use it for both macro work and as a carry-around. The detail, contrast and colour rendering is simply remarkable.

One minor complaint with it is the lens cap falls off easily. My DA 35's cap has a small ding where it hit the concrete once, but generally I don't cap my lenses when on the camera, so it's not a real issue.
