Technically it's not a Blackbird, but you need to be a real expert to
know the difference.  When I first put the image up I didn't have the
explanatory caption, and was corrected by a colleague on another group
who used to be on the ground crew at NASA Edwards (until she retired).

One of the last flights scheduled for the NASA aircraft was a flyover
of the Moffet Field airshow, including a low, slow pass.  I was sitting
out there in a prime photo spot, with the 250-600 mounted, but at the
last minute the flight was cancelled due to excesive fuel leakage :-(
