What you described is exactly why I was leaning towards one of Zack's
workshops. When he went "pro" he pretty much only had his camera and a
Vivitar 285. I like that. Joe is sponsored by Nikon and probably drops
more $5,000 bodies in a year than we'll own in our lifetime. That's
fine, he has access to all this equipment, so why not use it to his
advantage? But as *I* don't have access to it (I own 1.5 flashes!) I'd
like to learn from someone who understands my limitations.
Limitations, by the way, that are shared by most of us amateurs.

A golf bag, huh? I was looking at a messenger bag in T.J. Maxx (an
outlet store in the US) the other day; it had all these pockets to fit
strobes and small (Pentax!) lenses in. For $20 it was better than many
dedicated camera bags, and it didn't shout CAMERA BAG! either  :-)
