Average isn't necessarily the middle. Average the set of numbers
(1,2,2,2,3,9) and you get 3.17, yet 5 of the 6 numbers are below average.
Bill Gates and I walk into the room at the same time, the "average"
income is several billion dollars a year - a case in which I'd willingly
settle for average. ;-D
I think you want "Median".
I wouldn't discount the entertainment value Kenny Boy provides, and even
a blind pig finds an acorn now and then.
