Thanks Bob. It was quite enjoyable. The snow was very compact, though. It didn't come higher than to our ankles. However we did come across places where foot-sized holes just beside the track disappeared into holes of deep icy blue. To begin with I suspected the guide setup was just to milk money from tourists, but those crevices were nasty... And covered by deceiving snow bridges...
