Linux here, fanboi.  When your Mac is two months old and Steve Jobs
has determined that the new OSX won't run on your ancient hardware,
I'll still be plugging along while you're emptying your wallet.
Photoshop or Lightroom would sure be nice, though.  Oh, well.


When OS 10.6 comes out next month sometime, it's 64 bit architecture will run on any Intel based Mac going back to 2006. Gonna make Photoshop and Lightroom and Aperture scream. Although all Mac Photoshop users will have to wait for PS CS5 to get the good 64 bit code.
