Shutter priority won't work, and most important, Hyper Program mode won't work either. I think Hyper Manual might also need A lenses. As for the MX not being good for street shooting, it's interesting you say that. I sold my PZ-1 last year, after about a year of not using it. I had been (and continue) using an MX. The finder if brighter, focusing is faster (because you don't have to care about where an AF sensor falls, and can focus anywhere in the frame) and exposure is OK, if you meter the pavement it each time you turn a corner or the light changes a lot.
