I agree on a certain level, but I had to be cautious here. Most of my
other posts were somewhat emotional, and I wanted to avoid dipping
into silliness. More importantly, if I were honest, which I strive to
be in the Times blogs, I would have to have said that driving the
Chevy in all that traffic made me tense and irritable, and I did an 18-
mile loop only because I had told the Times editors that I would:-).
