Interesting read. Paul, one thing, though, was missing for me, some
emotional resonance. How you FELT doing the dream cruise in your Bel
Air, rather
than just facts. Number 4, had more emotional impact. Just saying...
You
know wind in your hair, made you remember... heh, something.
I agree on a certain level, but I had to be cautious here. Most of my
other posts were somewhat emotional, and I wanted to avoid dipping into
silliness. More importantly, if I were honest, which I strive to be in
the Times blogs, I would have to have said that driving the Chevy in all
that traffic made me tense and irritable, and I did an 18- mile loop only
because I had told the Times editors that I would:-).
Paul
Totally agree Paul. I took my Boxster S to Woodward this afternoon around 2
o'clock. Turned south onto Woodward at 13 mile road, it was already backed
up solid for the entire mile down to 12 mile road. So instead of looping and
going north, I continued south to 696 and headed home. I'm sure with todays
heat there'll be some oerheated cors by the side of the road.
