Welcome to the list!

I don't know about a manual, but you can try www.mz-s.com for an
overview (the Pentax Functions are described there, but I'm sure
I've seen somewhere a brochure on line where the PF were listed
in a better way).

The same happens with the other Pentax AF cameras. I tried once
with my Mir 20/3.5 mounted on the Z-50p to use a piece of
aluminium foil between the lens and the contacts on the body,
and the focus confirmation worked (sometimes even without
aluminium) but I never tried after that attempt.

Well, I'll jump into it!
The 85/1.5 intrigues me. I bid on one on ebay but was outbid for
a couple of bucks. How is its optical performance?
