Marnie, I don't mind the white hair - for me it gets the photo more into
"slices of life", grabshot-like photography. I would like a little more
expression on the embrace, but like it as is.
Do use your camera more - for yourself - and post.

Haven't really done photography for about, hum, five months? I have found
I am very rusty, though I still know which way to point the camera and to
take the lens cap off. But that's about it.
Been helping my church put new web pages up (Joomla). Helping some with
CSS and some with graphics. Minor help, fine by me, because otherwise I'd
simply say no.
They didn't seem to have enough photos, so went to church today and took
some people shots. It was a very bright, hot day, and they have a lot of
concrete that tends to blow out and also reflect a lot.
So not that happy with anything I got.
But I sort of like this one. (Except for the woman's blown out white
hair.)

Still, and all, it was nice to be shooting again. Reminded me why I like
doing this stuff. And think I will try again next week, whether the web page
people use them or not.
