Rick,
I hear your whistle, but think differently.  We know one another here
and have some mutual respect.  I'd hope we can share some differing
opinions in a friendly environment and think about things in our
lives.
How boring and without growth would we be if we only did pictures of
pretty landscapes?  No more still lifes by Godfrey, no more fuzzy
street photography from Frank.  It would not help any of us learn, and
that's what I think this should be about.
I don't want to cause any heartburn.  I do want a strong and balanced
2 party system, and a media where we can have reasoned discussions
about important issues without screaming at each other or painting the
other guy as the Devil.
