Glad you like the weeds! About b/w: my problem precisely - not only were the other two taken on one of our typically overcast days but also Picasa - which I am sure is one of the three worst tools for the job - really drowned out the lighter areas despite all my efforts with contrast etc. sliders. I have yet to find and to learn a good b/w conversion tool that lets me fine tune tone and contrast. I think there will be no way around forking out some goosh in the general direction of Adobe in the long run. Thank you Ecke =========== I use Adobe Elements 5 for B&W conversions. But, really, Lightroom has a very good B&W conversion module. So you might as well just give up and go that way when you go the Adobe way. You know its inevitable. Resistance is futile.
